My two 3W photos are the very last 2 on the video. Explanation below…..

I thought I would make it at least until the end of the year, but …

I don’t want to say goodbye for good, because I will pop in now and again to post pictures – but it will only be once in a blue moon. So if you have me on your Google Reader or Bloglines, you will see me light up once in a while.

Who knows ~ maybe I’ll start blogging again one day, then again, maybe I won’t. For now… I’m done.

This is just no longer about our adoption. I spent so much time obsessing over Rum0r Queen, adoption blogs, ALL THINGS adoption related.

Now it is just time to LIVE LIFE.

A DRY 3W Sunday!!! September 27, 2009

School was closed Mon/Tues/ Wed, so the kids just had a 2 day week. Yesterday our transformer was hit by lightning during a storm and we lost power, so we hung out at my parents house. Low-Low enjoyed “reading” the Reader’s Digest while my father read the paper. She’s so sophisticated……
My boys had a soccer game yesterday – the rain started coming down during the last few minutes of the game then it really opened up and stormed – hence the lightning almost hitting our house. When it hit the transformer, I swear it was the loudest POP you have ever heard – we all jumped out of our skin….that is, all but Low-Low. She was play cooking at her table and she didn’t even flinch. She just kept on playing like nothing happened —– in the almost dark since the lights went out. She’s a tough cookie…..
Today is another soccer game – but thank God – there is NO rain in the forecast – the sun is-a-shinin’!!!! So once again, it feels like all my days are spent on the ball field.

Once again – these are all taken with my phone – so they are all pretty much sucky.

It is a sad state of affairs here in Georgia. My children don’t have school yet again, due to the flooding. A 2-year-old boy died, here in my town, not too far from us. He was swept out of his mother’s arms into the ragging waters. The mother was holding onto her 1-year-old and her two year old. She was not able to keep her hold on her 2-year-old. She held onto a tree with her baby for 3 hours before she was rescued. Her older sons body was later found…..

My heart breaks for this family. I can not even begin to imagine the pain they must be going through. As a mother – I have been haunted by this. I added another 3 word photo  – he was the little boy on the right of the picture. The woman is his Grandmother. This photo was taken  while they were still looking for him….The music for this weeks video is for all those that have lost their homes – all their possessions, and sadly – family members.

May God shine some sun down on us. We need dry weather – so many homes and roads just GONE. Just washed away….

It has been raining for days, and days, and days, and days……..very depressing. School was canceled today due to flooding, so in an effort to spend some quality time with all my kids – who are now all home on a Monday – I will make the video tomorrow. In the meantime – here are my 3 word photos ~

My first 3 words sum up my feelings regarding this blog. Sometimes I am “feeling it” and enjoy blogging, and sometimes it is a thorn in my side. This week it is a thorn. I hadn’t turned on my computer for days, and found it a royal pain when I had to log on yesterday. Checking my email and F@cebook via my phone is quick and easy – what I need these days – quick and easy.

2nd photo – notice the hair??? She was playing so hard, she lost one piggy tail….. hair bow and all….

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze. My heart just breaks for his wife of 34 years – the pain she must be going through right now….My very favorite Swayze film – one of his firsts – and one I probably watched over a 100 times during my teen years….

Here is a short movie of Low-Low being silly before bed time. My pajama clad girl is just being silly dancing around – showing off her moves – now imagine if she had some music playing. Fagetaboutit!

• I am so pathetically behind in emails, it is not even funny. My apologizes to anyone who has sent me one and has not heard back yet.
• It took a stranger to make me realize how far Low-Low is coming in her speech. I was at the supermarket and as the cashier was checking us out, LL was naming the items she was scanning.  Banana’s (she calls them nana’s) Milk (she says it more like  ‘mulk’), toilet paper (she yelled out “PA-PA-TEE” — that is how she says potty), bows (she said “Bows” then “Hair” and pointed to her hair) dog biscuits (she said DOGS!) Apple Juice (EVERY juice is apple juice, whether it be orange or grape – doesn’t matter – it’s all apple juice) and then she started singing her ABC’s.  The cashier asked how old she was, then said, “she is so smart.”
• She has just started to put words together. The other day in the car she said, “mama I cold!” ( I had the A/C on full blast.
• Her new favorite word……..”MINE!” and it is getting her in trouble these days, because she yells it whenever a sibling or another child gets near anything that is hers.
• I swear, she understands EVERYTHING I tell her. I will throw things out there that I swear she will not understand, but she will always shock me by somehow understanding me.
• Since the kids have gone back to school and daddy is at work all day, it is just LL and I during the day. I have noticed that she is becoming (even more)
• clingy to me.  It’s all about “mama” these days, and that is all I hear at least 100 times a day “MAMA!”
• Ok, so did any of you watch the Pr!metime special with J0hn Gossel!n from J0hn & Kate + 8???? I taped it and watched it the next morning while feeding Low-Low her breakfast. Good Lord! What a piece of work this man is!! Let’s get one thing straight – I CAN NOT STAND Kate. I think she is a she-devil, she makes my skin crawl. I stopped watching that show awhile ago because I couldn’t stand her THAT much.  But after watching the Pr!metime special ———– what an asshole that John is. We are all adults here, and sometimes you need to call a spade a spade and no other word will do, he is an ASSHOLE. Granted, Kate is a she-devil (in my opinion) but how in the world do you get on national T.V and say you “despise” your soon to be ex-wife? How do you get on national T.V. and say “I love my girlfriend more than I ever loved Kate”???????????????? That is the mother of his children. How do you say these things knowing that your children will one day see this interview? Think about your children you scumbag.
• My sons first game of the season was today. They won – so proud – it was a tough game. So my first 3WS photo is for them – it was taken after the game when we went to lunch.

This is a typical morning here in casa de pugito. LL is ready to drive her siblings to school – she has her bottle – her Cheerios – and her piggy. Life is good – all is in order.
